Arrowise (WIP)

Arrow Pop is a casual mobile puzzle game where players tap directional arrows to clear a grid and reveal hidden pixel artwork underneath. The game combines simple one-touch controls with strategic path-clearing puzzles, level progression, lives, and satisfying feedback.

I designed it for quick mobile sessions with readable board states, polished UX animations, and rewarding visual reveals.

Roles / Responsibilities

Game Design

- Designed the core puzzle mechanic, gameplay loop, level flow, and player progression.
- Balanced the experience around short sessions, clear decision-making, and satisfying tap
feedback.
- Defined win/fail conditions, lives flow, level completion, and puzzle readability.

Gameplay Engineering

- Built the Unity game architecture using MVC principles with clean separation between models,
views, and controllers.
- Implemented grid logic, arrow path validation, arrow removal, level completion, failure
states, and lives system.
- Created event-driven gameplay flow for reliable communication between game systems and UI.

Editor Tools

- Developed custom Unity editor tools to support level creation and content iteration.
- Built a level-generation workflow for converting visual artwork into playable puzzle levels.
- Added validation support to help verify level structure and puzzle solvability.

Game Art

- Created visual concepts, art direction, and production-ready assets
- Designed arrow assets, board visuals, in-game items, pixel-art reveal content, UI elements, and overall game visual language.
